We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced **Technical Advisor - Environment**, based at our Osborne Park office.
Activities will include the provision of environmental expertise related to compliance, approvals, performance monitoring, natural resource management, incident management and reporting, on behalf of participants in the program.
The role will also support the recovery of other resource materials associated with wastewater and water treatment.

**The fundamentals of the role**:
Obtaining approvals for new and existing participant in the biosolids resource recovery program and supporting other third parties receiving waste resources for further treatment and beneficial use.
Coordinating compliance activities on behalf of farmers participating in the biosolids resource recovery program, including communications with relevant government agencies and regulatory authorities.
Supporting circular economy principles across metro wastewater and water treatment and resource recovery operations.
Assisting with audit and review to support continuous improvement.
Supporting strong working relationships with key stakeholders, particularly farmers and organisations involved in resource recovery.
**Ideally, you will possess**:
- Degree level qualification in Environmental Science or Management, Applied Science, or approved equivalent.
- Relevant experience in natural resource management and environmental risks and opportunities within the resource recovery sector.
- Relevant experience in the use of ARC GIS and related data systems management.
- Has the ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships.
- Possesses well developed analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Driver’s licence and an ability to work outdoors within the regions.
