This is a new role to host tournaments at one of our partnering venues on a weekly basis, typically weekdays after 5pm. There are initially two poker tournaments to host across one or two nights a week, with the number and types of events in future increasing. You do not have to be experienced with poker to host our tournaments, rather, you must be a good host and follow an event operation manual and rule book. Knowledge of poker rules are preferred but not necessary.

On the tournament day, you will be responsible for set up and pack up, welcoming participants, registrations, handling customer payments, and announcing competition details and winners.

We are seeking someone who wants to start out part time and wants to grow with our company as we build participant numbers and broaden to other event types. While you will be independent during the tournaments we have avenues to provide support before, during and after each event. The future of this role looks like a daily event at one, or different partnering venues in your area and utilizing technology to make your life a lot less about admin and a whole lot more about relationship managing with the participants. There may even be opportunities for direct reports and Franchising.

Position deliverables:
1. To host and coordinate weekly tournaments at partner venue(s).

2. Safe and accurate cash handling (from sale transactions, payouts to depositing).
- Must be reliable and available for weekly tournament.
- Must be able to follow a rule book and ops manual.
- Have the ability to learn quickly.
- Are capable of being independent and have people skills.
- Previously used Microsoft excel (or similar) and can learn new software with the right training.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
