The Central Coast Local Health District is seeking experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join their busy service which services both Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. This dynamic team environment has a flexible approach to staffing, offering options around job share and or set days per week. About You You enjoy working a busy, fast paced environment whilst maintaining a focus on your advanced patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to provide a friendly, sensitive, and professional approach when dealing with patients You have exceptional time management skills and can carefully plan, organise, and prioritise tasks, whilst meeting service demands. You have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and key stakeholders.

**What you'll be doing**

This position primarily performs echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and dobutamine stress echocardiography.

The department is equipped with Philips echo machines including a fully integrated reporting system.

Diagnostic Cardiology, provides delivery of ECG, Holter monitoring analysis, exercise stress testing and device interrogation as well as the above ultrasound modalities.

The position is to provide all Diagnostic Cardiology tests and procedures, in a professional courteous and caring manner in line with the CORE values of the Central Coast Local Health District.

**Selection Criteria**
- Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent.
- ASAR Accredited Cardiac Sonographer.
- Preferred experience in performing and interpreting ECG’s, Exercise Stress tests and Holter Monitors, or willing to do in-house training to become competent
- Demonstrated ability to provide services to patients in a professional, courteous, respectful and gentle manner. While at the same time maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team while supporting a harmonious work environment.
- Demonstrated time management, organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
