Fruit and Vegetable Assistant

About the Company:
We are a proudly independently owned supermarket, established in December 2023. The store is located at the heart of the developing Alira Berwick Estate. Inside our modern store, it features a liquor department, freshly baked daily goods, hot foods, coffee, slurpee, and a yet to open deli. Our new and developing neighbours include child care, chemist, restaurants and dentist, just to name a few.

The role:
Ensuring the produce section is well stocked, cleaned, and presented. You will ensure that only the freshest fruit and vegetables make it onto the shelves.

Your daily duties:

- stocking and rotating stock
- arrange and display stock
- ensure all products' prices are displayed and correct
- keeping the area clean and organised
- markdowns
- assisting the customer service team when needed

Who we are looking for:

- minimum of 1 year experience in the produce department in supermarkets or fruit and veg shops or similar
- available to work early mornings
- strong understanding of produce and its quality
- attention to detail
- able to work efficiently and quickly
- autonomous
