Cobra Waste Solutions located in Yennora Nsw is in the waste management industry operating a recycling centre. It was established in 2015 and with staff focus and management drive continues to grow rapidly. Cobra Waste Solutions Pty Ltd strives to provide fast and excellent results.

The Position

We are recruiting an experienced and professional accountant to join our growing team who will be reporting to the Director. You will have the potential for continuous growth in the company. This is a full time and permanent position working from Monday - Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM

Key Role:
This role offers exposure to a wide variety of tasks associated with the various accounting and taxation needs of our clients and includes, but is not limited to:

- Assistance with and responsibility for the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
- Assistance with the preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Assistance with Payroll

To be considered for the role you will require the following:

- Must be knowledgeable with Accounts Payables to ensure all suppliers invoices are matching with POs to avoid duplicate payment.
- Will be highly involved with Accounts Receivable duties including but not limited to chasing up payment for overdue invoices and customer accounts reconciliations
- Well versed with Financial Reporting (e.g Cash Flows, Budget and Profit and Loss)
- Experienced in using XERO and can easily adapt with new operating System
- Capable of doing Bank Account and credit card reconciliation
- Must have skills using excel
- Well-presented, and with excellent communication skills.
- Willing to contribute and learn.
- A strong focus on overall safety, safe driving procedures and manual handling techniques
- A friendly “can do” attitude
- Must have the ability to work autonomously for extended periods of time.

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year

- Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
