**About PicUp**:
PicUp specializes in on-demand delivery services for large and bulky items. Commencing operations in North Sydney & Northern Beaches areas starting in mid-late May, we are expanding to the greater Sydney area later in the year. We're seeking committed owner-drivers to support our growth and join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility to choose your workload and schedule, akin to an Uber model.
**Role Summary**:
We are actively seeking owner-drivers with their own vans, utes, or trucks to handle deliveries across Sydney. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who value independence and wish to manage their own time and earnings.

**Vehicle Requirements**:

- **Vans**: High roof, 2-tonne preferred
- **Utes**: Single cab only, minimum with double racks
- **Trucks**: 4.5-tonne
- Vehicles must be registered with valid insurance

**Driver Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license
- Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Marine Insurance and Goods In-Transit Insurance
- Must pass a police background check
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with customers and the company

**Services Offered**:

- **Delivery/Small Moves**: Transport of furniture and white goods
- **Junk Collection**: Disposal services to the tip
- **Truck Removals**: Ideal for moving contents of a 3-bedroom apartment

**Working Hours**:

- Highly flexible, self-determined schedule with work available Monday to Saturday
- No minimum required hours, maximum of 12 hours per day from 6 AM to 6 PM

**Compensation**:

- Pay rate of $1.00 per minute for single haulers and $2.00 per minute for two-person teams or truck removals
- Extra pay for deliveries involving stairs and toll roads

**Support**:

- Drivers operate as independent contractors
- Onboarding training provided
- Customer service support available for both customer and app-related issues

**Technology Requirements**:

- Must own a smartphone to utilize the PicUp app

**Application Process**:
**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $60.00 - $120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 0.5 - 72 per week

**Experience**:

- Delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
