Maintenance Fitters required | Manufacturing | Ballarat based | Attractive hourly rate

**Your new company**
Partnering with one of Ballarat's leading businesses who specialise in manufacturing their top quality products Australia wide. With their ever growing business, they are looking for more maintenance fitters to assist in the maintenance of their production machines.

**Your new role**
This role will perform the preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with produce specifications with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production. Working as a member of the Maintenance team this role will resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise production interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns/failures and ensure smooth operations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Trade qualified or experienced fitter & turner
- Previous experience in maintenance fitting
- A thorough understanding of the principals of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and associated production line equipment and plant
- Some experience with MIG welding and/or fabrication
- Professional work practices and a strong work ethic
- A positive and constructive attitude
