Our Group Training Division provides aspiring apprentices and trainees employment opportunities where they can earn and learn, and that’s where you come in This role ensures that all of our employees are paid accurately and on time while responding to payroll enquires and keeping our payroll system and processes running smoothly. **Other responsibilities**: - Assisting with the accurate preparation and processing of the weekly/fortnightly pay runs as well as back pay, tax adjustments and off cycle payments - Completion of payroll activities related to the onboarding and offboarding of employees - Ensuring payroll records are accurately maintained - Providing payroll support to apprentices and trainees, host employers, and other stakeholders **What you will bring to the role**: - Experience with high volume end-to-end payroll processing - Strong communication skills; you enjoy the customer service aspect to payroll - Knowledge of superannuation and tax requirements - Ability to interpret and understand compliance for various awards, as well as Fair Work legislation - Experience processing claims and invoices - IT skills (i.e. Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly pick up new payroll systems **Additional requirements**: - Right to Work in Australia i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with Permanent Work Rights - excludes visas with Temporary Work Rights - A current **Blue Card** (Working with Children Check) and **NDIS Worker's Screening Check/Yellow Card, **or the willingness to gain these clearances if successful.
