Store Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, full time **Store Manager** for our **Mitchell **Paint Trade Centre, who has a passion for service excellence & a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be accountable for retail fundamentals, including outstanding customer service, reporting, promotions, and merchandising standards. As a business that strives for team development, your mentorship, training and motivational skills are key for success. You will help achieve sales and profitability growth, whilst while maintaining a productive, and safe work environment. Developing and maintaining your team and customer base is a high priority.

You will work closely with the Regional Manager and other Store Managers and the Trade team to implement and maintain sales growth within our Company Owned Stores and continue to strive for service excellence within the paint industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate and role model leadership behaviour including exceptional customer service, accountability, ownership, teamwork, promoting engagement and offering solutions.
- Coaching and developing the team's knowledge, skills, and behaviours to ensure a successful store culture.
- Tinting & mixing paint, palletising paint drums, arranging orders for delivery & colour matching.
- Managing the store’s inventory, ordering, stock replenishment
- Rostering the team.
- Growing store revenue and targets and hitting KPI’s.
- Maximising the sales approach to focus on the features and benefits of PPG products.
- Implement marketing and promotional plans to maximise sales potential.
- Maintain and continue development of customer relationships. Offering advice/solutions to customers, both trade and retail.
- Operate point of sale system and prepare sales invoices following company policy.
- Deliver store customer service standards by demonstrating and coaching colleagues the 4x3 Customer Service Protocol - Welcome, Understand, Solution, and Sell.
- Increase sales using the 4x3 Selling Application System - Preparing, Prime and Seal, Finishing.
- Achieve and adhere to Store standards, including EHS, training & housekeeping.
- Assisting in the management of expenses, inventory, and stock taking into consideration of P&LP goals.
- Uphold and maintain the highest levels of safety for all team, customers & contractors.

**Training**
- Attend PPG state-based training - trade product, 4x3 Customer Service Protocol and Selling Application System.
- Undertake sales techniques, store presentations, customer service, and ethics training.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Store Manager Experience or similar role.
- A valid driver’s license
- Paint industry experience is not mandatory - training can be provided.
