Your part in our Blue Care team

Our dynamic team at Azure Blue Carina Retirement Village is seeking a part time Hospitality Officer/Barista to join their team.

Blue Care operate over 35 retirement villages across Queensland, with more than 3,300 residents choosing to make a Blue Care community their home.

The Azure Blue Redcliffe offers resort-style independent living positioned in a bushland setting with shopping and health services within easy reach. We provide a range of facilities and services designed to support our residents enjoy the best years of their life in a relaxed, comfortable, secure and safe environment.

As the Barista, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the community cafe in the village. Ensuring the delivery of food is in adherence with Ausrralian food safety standards and dietary requirement of our elderly residents. Additionally, you will:
- Support senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include kitchen duties.- Foster a professional working relationship with the village residents and team members and ensure exceptional customer service.- Ensure all equipment is used and stored according to manufacturer’s instructions and organisational guidelines.- Report any defects in equipment or other hazards.

What makes a difference for us?- Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning- Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation- Experience in aged care desirable- Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
