Oshc Qualified Educator

Goodwood Primary School and Preschool is a very collaborative and diverse community who are committed to being active contributors to the development of a positive culture for all. An important part of this community is our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service where we care for children aged
3 ½ to 13 years old.

Essential requirements are:

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- RHHAN-EC: Fundamentals and Masterclass

Non-essential
- Child Care First Aid - HLTAID012 (or equivalent)

Key responsibilities include:

- Giving each child individual attention and comfort while accommodating their diverse needs
- Understanding and working according to our policies and procedures
- Assisting the educational leader in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs
- Recording observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes
- Working with individual children with diverse needs
- Undertaking and implementing the requirements of quality assurance
- Working in accordance with food safety regulations
- Being responsible for ensuring a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children
- Developing positive relationships with families and the community
- Participating in professional development

**Salary**: From $24.76 per hour
