- Right at Home provides high quality in-home care and assistance to our valued clients in the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie & Moreton Bay regions. We support people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. **About the role**

We currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Variety of shifts available including weekends and active overnights
- Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
- Preparing food, feeding clients and assisting medications
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations

**Essential Criteria**:

- **High Care Need Experience (Desirable but not essential)**:

- **Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges

**Requirements**:

- Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
- Current Working with Children/Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Comprehensive insurance (desirable)
- Double COVID Vaccination

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $38.53 - $84.76 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
