**About the Role**

It's an exciting time for Wollondilly with major town centres being planned and built. With growth comes opportunity and Wollondilly Shire Council in partnership with the NSW Government have a Trainee Ranger Services position available forming part of the 'fresh start for local government apprentices, trainees and cadets'.
- The traineeship offers the chance to gain valuable on-the-job experience while completing a Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services). Working in a dynamic and supportive team, you will develop skills to investigate complaints regarding non-compliance issues across the Shire and educate the community to help resolve these matters.
- Commitment to enrolling and undertaking a Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or equivalent.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team with a focus on personal safety and the safety of others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with an array of stakeholders.
- Time management skills and the ability to plan and prioritise.
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
