**Part Time - Shop Assistant**

3 days a week minimum, including Saturdays.Melbourne Artists’ Supplies is a family owned business that first opened its doors in 1985 with the aim to provide Artists, Creatives and Students with the materials and knowledge to approach their practice with confidence. We pride ourselves on educating customers on products and have a loyal customer base of individuals who appreciate the time and information we offer along with quality products. We have two stores located in Hampton East and Brunswick, along with an online store available to local and interstate customers.We currently have an opening for a **Part Time** **Shop Assistant** position at our **Hampton East **location and are looking for an individual that is self-sufficient, a great communicator and has strong attention to detail.

This role is ideal for someone with knowledge of a range of art materials, a willingness to learn and grow with the business, the ability to diversify and be involved with all areas of the store.

**Your duties may include**:

- POS - processing sales
- Explaining products to customers/addressing customer enquiries
- Packing web orders
- Tidying the store, organising, fronting stock
- Writing up customer orders
- Taking calls
- Stock handling, unpacking orders
- Product research
- Team work

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 19.5 per week

**Salary**: From $23.38 per hour
