**About the role**

As a Home Care Worker in the South Coast region, you will have a varied and rewarding role working between Pimpama and the beautiful Hastings Point. Working alongside aged care consumers with differing support needs, you will provide them with the appropriate support to achieve their goal of living independently within their own home. Join our family friendly and supportive team and have the flexibility to create your own working roster. Dependant on your own availability, we can offer our Part-time applicants 16 to 75 hours per fortnight.

The types of support provided include:

- Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework;
- Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping;
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care;
- Assisting with medication;
- Support in developing a consumer driven care plan.

We also have Traineeship options that could allow you to undertake a combination of study and paid work, to achieve your Certificate III in Individual Support.

Remuneration for this role is $22.94 - $26.74 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.

You are caring, empathetic and seeking to make a difference. You are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes.

To be suited to these positions, you will have:

- Experience in providing excellent customer service;
- A current driver's licence and fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes;
- Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (qualified applicants);
- Completion of the following unit of competency: HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication - or ability to acquire (qualified applicants);
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates (qualified applicants);
- A Drivers Authority will be highly regarded.
