**About AGA**:
AGA has more than 30 years’ experience in training people and placing them into employment, with a focus on apprenticeships and traineeships. AGA partners with the MAS National consortium to deliver Apprenticeship Network Provider services in Victoria.

**About the role**:
AGA are seeking first to fourth year Engineering Apprentices (Fitter & Turners) for an immediate start. The ideal applicant/s must be motivated and keen to learn and work in this field. Ideally, a Pre-App in Cert II is preferred. Own vehicle and valid drivers license is also preferred for this role. The position is Full time and is located in Clayton. School leavers are encouraged to apply.

**The key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Able to operate general manual machine operation including milling, grinding and turning.
- Handle of dismantling and assembly of various pieces of equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance of existing equipment.
- Able to problem solve and work with hydraulics.
- Comply to OH&S policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Must be an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident
- Commit to Full Time 4 year apprenticeship
- Pre-App Cert II preferred
- Valid White/OS&H card required
- Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (Paid for by AGA)
- Up to date with Covid-19 vaccinations (3 Doses required)
- Apprentices will be working on machines that process pork products
