We are looking for an
**Ultrasound Clinical Educator** to support the training and development needs of Sonographers within the
**Gold Coast** region.

The position involves
**(with a generous fortnightly training allowance on offer). **The role is open to
**Part Time (2 days per week) **or
**Full Time (2 educational days, 3 days of clinical practice).**

We need professionals who want to promote clinical excellence in Ultrasound practice and feel driven to achieve this through training and strategic support.

**You will**:

- Supervise training of trainee, graduate, and experienced Sonographers in line with agreed Strategic and Clinical Quality objectives for the group as well as industry best practice standards.
- Support the Modality Head and Operational Leadership within Sonographer onboarding, training, credentialing, quality assurance and ongoing promotion of clinical excellence in Ultrasound practice.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain professional development programs for the Ultrasound team, including individual training plans based on regular skill set review.
- Work with the Modality and Operational leadership to define, plan and deliver on financial year training program including goals, objectives, risk register, and key outcomes.
- Identification of innovative opportunities for advancement of Qscan’s clinical training program and capacity to progress local practice ahead of emerging market trends.

**About You**

Alongside your Ultrasound experience, you also have previous experience in technical and professional training and are motivated to give 100% in everything you do.

You will also have:

- The ability to teach sonographers within all basic, intermediate, and advanced Ultrasound techniques including general abdominal, small parts, vascular, obstetrics and musculoskeletal.
- Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
- High level interpersonal skills to effectively build and manage relationships.
- A passion to promote and foster clinical excellence in Ultrasound practice.
- The ability to work proactively to achieve high-quality outcomes.
