**Position**: Support Workers - **Donvale** NDIS Check Required - Regular ongoing hours.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to assist a gentleman with brain injury following fall from bike **Donvale **area. This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide high-quality care and support.

**Key Responsibilities**:Gentleman is transfer x1, moderate cognitive impairment, aphasia-low speech volume-uses an amplifier when speaking, continent, no behavioural issues.
Assisting with shower and grooming.
Meal prep - eats soft bite sized food under supervision.
To drive him to appointments and social engagements.
Companionship.

**Requirements**:
**NDIS check** required.
Awareness of how important it is to have consistency and punctuality.
Availability to fill some of these shifts on a regular basis:
Monday - Friday 0700 - 1000hrs

Monday - Friday 1400 - 1900hrs

**What you'll need**:
Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, Ageing Support or equivalent OR relevant experience
Minimum of one year experience in similar or care industry
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to your work

NDIS Screening Check

Own Car for PM bookings, Full Australian Driver Licence with Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling Certificate
Proof of 3 Doses of COVID Vaccination
National Police Check or willing to obtain one
There are many other regular bookings available if you have a car and the above requirements.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
