Chairo Christian School is a growing non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are seeking the services of a dedicated Canteen Operator to join the team at our Drouin East campus in Term 3 this year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and deliver a friendly and efficient canteen service at the campus.

Some key responsibilities will include:
Â- Operating the campus canteen and delivering friendly service to students
and staff members

Â- Preparing and purchasing food for sale through the canteen in accordance
with the school's food safety standards

Â- Processing online orders using My School Connect

Â- Cleaning and organising the canteen and equipment as may be required

Â- Assisting with canteen money management in accordance with school
policy

Â- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith

Â- Food handling/hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Â- Experience in food preparation or kitchen management (desirable)

Â- Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring, friendly and
helpful manner
