**Store Manager - Evans Leather Repair (Melbourne CBD)**

**About the Role**
We are seeking a full-time **Store Manager** to lead daily operations, oversee customer service, and support our small team of skilled craftsmen and part-time shop assistants. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, detail-oriented environment and has a genuine interest in leather craftsmanship and retail.

You will work **alongside part-time shop assistants three days per week** and will be the key point of contact for customers, responsible for quoting jobs, managing workflows, liaising with craftsmen and ensuring a smooth in-store experience for our clientele.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum **2 years retail experience**, ideally in boutique or craft-focused environments
- Strong **speaking** and **writing skills** and attention to detail, with the ability to confidently **write comprehensive quotes**:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability **Monday to Friday**is essential

**Desirable (but not essential)**:

- Experience with **shoe repair**, **leatherwork**, or adjacent creative/manual skills (e.g. sewing, tailoring, cobbling, design)
- Background in **luxury fashion**, accessories, or premium retail
