Catering Assistant

We are currently seeking a Casual **Catering Assistant **to join our team at the **Calvary Public Hospital Bruce.**

This position is a multi-faceted position and requires a hands-on approach to the food service delivery in the kitchen and dining room, as well as light cleaning duties through the facilities. We are looking for someone with solid coffee skills and excellent customer service.

**Some of your day to day tasks could include**:

- Set up utensils needed for each meal service and assist with serving meals to patients
- Assist with basic food preparation for morning and afternoon tea
- General cleaning duties to ensure kitchen is kept tidy and clean
- Assist with general kitchen duties, including washing and cleaning of equipment and surfaces

**About you**:

- Demonstrated customer service skills with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail as well as flexibility to move from one task to another
- Ability to work as part of a team and also autonomously
- Availability to work 7am-3pm shifts across a Monday-Friday
- Previous experience in catering, front of house and kitchen support is highly desirable but not essential_

**Salary**: $22.76 per hour
