And you’ll be part of our high performing team, where you reap the rewards of our collective success now and into the future. **About the Opportunity** Join our dynamic team as a **Commercial Analyst** and make a tangible impact on our strategic and financial goals Working closely with the State Head of Commercial, you’ll drive data-driven insights, support state-wide growth initiatives, and streamline commercial processes to empower sustainable growth across our wholesaler and independent network. **In this Role** - Provide critical commercial guidance to State teams, ensuring efficient financial processes and decision-making support. - Deliver insights and analysis on performance metrics, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on growth and transformation projects, from financial modelling to business case development. - Foster strong partnerships, manage credit risk, and drive end-to-end process improvements. **You’re Likely a Match If*** - 5+ years in commercial analysis or business partnership roles, preferably within wholesale, retail, or FMCG. - Strong skills in Excel, PowerBI, and financial modelling, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights. - An accounting degree, CA/CPA qualified (or similar) with experience in fast-paced, transformative environments. - Confident communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative work style. **Life at Metcash** Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
