Are you interested in kick-starting or developing your career in civil construction? VicRoads is seeking motivated individuals to join its road maintenance team in the following locations; Bendigo, Donald, Swan Hill, Ouyen, Red Cliffs, and Kyneton.

**Your role will include (but not be limited to)**:

- Operating an MR and/ or HR vehicle.
- Routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Minor construction works.
- Ad hoc labour duties.
- Using company tablets and mobile devices.
- Maintaining a safe work environment in line with OH&S standards.

On a rotating roster, employees may be asked to respond to emergency situations and be required to work on-call before, after, or during standard trading hours.

**About you**:
To succeed in this role, the following tickets are essential:

- MR Truck Licence/HR Truck Licence/HC Truck Licence.
- Construction Induction Card.
- Traffic Control and Traffic Management Ticket.
- Current First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- ** MUST** be triple vaccinated against Covid-19 (or be willing to get it).
- Experience in a similar role would be seen as advantageous.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, can take direction well, and comply with safety requirements.

**Please note**: All applicants must pass a pre-employment functional capacity assessment, provide two relevant references, complete a driver history check from VicRoads and be willing to undergo random drug and alcohol screening.
