An opportunity to provide Deskside Support to our Fairfield and wider team of 20 branches. This position will be expected to be performed from our Fairfield office 5 days per week for the first few months of employment in order to learn and provide onsite support. There is an opportunity for Flexible Work following this period of initial learning.

**Role overview**
- Management of IT helpdesk tickets, prioritising, sharing tickets to other IT staff when necessary
- Help the team with ensuring security of network and uptime of servers and systems
- Access impact of technical changes and manage implementation if appropriate
- Provide support for remote operations such as mobility & iPhone devices
- Setup and deploy laptops, desktops, printers, smartphones etc
- Incident management - diagnosis and troubleshooting of service desk tickets
- Diagnose and rectify hardware, operating system and file system faults
- Make recommendations and participate in projects related to service improvements across the group

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant bachelor degree or diploma in a relevant IT field
- Solid understanding of Windows 7/8.1 & 10 Pro
- PowerShell, Network configuration and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills to troubleshoot over the phone and remotely via RDS

**Advantageous but not essential**:

- Comfortable configuring smartphones - MDM (Intune)
- Server 2012 - 2019
- Microsoft Office 365 exposure
- New laptop/desktop setup/configuration - WDS experience
- Active Directory Management, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- PowerShell, Network configuration and troubleshooting***
