Simson are expanding their collaborative Studio Team We are on the lookout for an exceptionally creative illustrator with strong design and layout skills and a love of colour. Based at our modern creative studio in the heart of Fitzroy, part time or full time (to suit your circumstances).

Simson is one of Australia’s top 4 direct to retail Greeting Card Publishers. It has been a market leader in greeting card and gift packaging innovation for over 40 years and is the winner of over 30 Australian & International Design Awards. Simson has developed a strong product based business in over 1200 retail stores including significant exposure within David Jones & Myer department stores and employs over 100 people across Australia.

What will be your Skill Set?
- Experience in fast moving consumer products.
- Ability to take concept ideas into an illustration to suit the Simson brand.
- Ability to be able to design illustrations to suit the product.
- An advanced understanding of all graphics programs including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A knowledge of Procreate highly regarded but not essential
- A great eye for trends and colour direction and an understanding of colour printing.
- Tertiary Degree desirable

Flexibility:
This position will be working from our Studio at 114 Moor Street Fitzroy. While there will be occasions when Working from Home will be possible, we know design innovation is maximised when the Studio team all collaborate together.
