We are a family-owned Australian business located in Dandenong. We specialise in making delicious veggie burgers, schnitzels and a wide range of other value-added vegetable or plant-based products.

We are currently looking for friendly, hard-working, and reliable people seeking ongoing employment to become key members of our morning and afternoon teams.

**About the role**

Working in a small team you will be mainly involved in the cooking of our products. You will also be involved in cleaning, sanitising the equipment you use.

You need to be physically fit, enjoy working standing up, have good food hygiene and work safety awareness, and be able to perform the manual handling tasks required.

**Skills and experience**

Although previous experience is preferred it is not essential. On the job training will be provided by experienced and supportive team members. Experience you may have that is relevant would involve cooking of food products in a quick serve restaurant or large kitchen, canteen or catering business. You may have worked as a kitchen hand or line cook using baking, grilling or frying equipment.

If you are well suited to mastering this role you will be able to:

- perform repetitive work tasks without losing focus
- be co-operative, friendly, and supportive of other team members
- be easily understood to take and give instructions and share information in English
- be able to accurately complete production records
- demonstrate a commitment to food safety
- work in a clean, organised, and tidy manner.

**Hours of employment**

Typical rostered hours for the morning vacancy are _5:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday to Friday._

Typical rostered hours for the afternoon vacancy are _12:30 pm to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday._

Flexibility is required to adjust start and finish times in response to production requirements.
- These positions are not suitable for students who cannot be rostered every week day as outlined above on an ongoing basis. _

**Work eligibility**

**Salary**: $26.50 - $27.50 per hour
