Busy Bees at Killarney Heights is a 109 place, purpose-built Early Learning Service opened 5 years ago. Our convenient central location means the Service is easily accessible from wherever you may be in the suburb or on public transport.

With 10 ECT’s in the team, it is a highly motivated, supportive and knowledgeable environment to work in. The service has wonderful extracurricular activities each week including French lessons, Music class and Sport sessions and has been rated Exceeding and listed in the top 15 childcares on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Our service is looking for multiple Casual Educators who are passionate about the Early Childhood Industry. This is a great chance to work with a fantastic service and team and take your career to the next step while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

- A chance to connect with and build a support network with leaders in the Early Childhood Industry across the nationEssential Qualifications- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.- Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.- Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
