**Regional Vice President Revenue**

**Job Summary**

Regional Vice President Revenue is responsible for the client regional revenue of Emarsys, heading the Revenue business unit, which constitutes of Sales and Client Success. They are responsible for establishing Emarsys as a market leader and continuously increasing total revenue through establishing regional long-term and short-term strategies, processes and targets for Sales and Customer Success teams - based on internal data and market analysis.

RVP Revenue is responsible for the ultimate performance and development of commercial divisions by setting up development goals and targets for and facilitation the performance of the Sales and Client Success teams

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Business**:

- Establish brand as a market leader through setting up strategies and processes for the commercial departments.
- Build long-term and short-term strategies for Sales and Customer Success Teams
- Ground customer acquisition and retention plans, actions, and goals to generate growth in revenue and bookings.
- Build seamless customer Sales and Success procedures by setting best practices, tools, and methodologies in accordance with internal needs and market best practices.
- Set appropriate metrics and standards for Sales and Client Success teams
- Ensure the maximum adoption of Emarsys products and services within the installed client base by identifying areas to drive greater integration, automation, and usage of our services.
- Keep up to date with current market trends and competitive analysis, including pricing, features, license models and value-proposition strategies - tailor commercial strategies in accordance with the market knowledge.
- Partner with local Marketing leadership on the marketing strategy and implement in line with the objectives of each local region

**People**:

- Collaborate with C-level executives to ensure consistency of direction and strategies.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to customize and implement overarching strategies into actionable initiatives.
- Act as revenue leader of the Australia & Singapore offices on all people related activities in partnership with the HR team

**Leadership**:

- Lead, motivate, guide, and empower regional leaders to drive their teams to achieve.
- Recruit and develop successful regional and global leaders and support the development of their respective teams.
- Establish and maintain a healthy, thriving, positive and productive mentality within the department.
- Set talent acquisition goals, strategies, and processes in collaboration with the TA team.
- Drive talent development through defining learning goals and strategies and facilitating training.
- Establish measures to analyze and appraise the performance of local teams.

**Finance & Reporting**:

- Provide reporting and transparency on Sales and CS performance, activities, and initiatives across regions. Own NBS and EBS numbers
- Consolidate regional forecasts and provide detailed and accurate forecasting for the Revenue division.

**Performance and Success Indicators**

**Qualitative**:

- Leader positioning of Emarsys across markets/regions
- Continuous development of commercial teams

**Quantitative**:

- YoY revenue increase across regions
- Target achievement of regional teams
- High NPS across regions

**Minimum Requirements**
- Demonstrated extensive leadership experience leading teams in commercial sales and client success on a regional level or higher
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals, both individual and team quotas
- Strong record of accomplishment of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high performing sales/and or client success organization.
- Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions.
- Proven record of accomplishment of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with change, think strategically, and make complex decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to make informed business decisions.
- Strong operational and analytical abilities
- Excellent presentation and written business communication skills; ability to lead meetings internally and externally and executive briefings.
- Proven ability to improve (regional) team’s performance, including strategies to improve revenue per team member
