Canteen Manager

**Location**:Blair Athol North School
**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM within school terms.

As a Canteen Manager in a primary school setting, you'll oversee daily operations of a sole operated site, you are responsible for opening & closing of the canteen, cash handling, cooking, food safety & lunch box system service using our online ordering app “Flexischools”. You'll represent Spotless, ensuring high-quality service for clients, students, and staff while following our policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain good relationships with clients.
- Handle client requests and concerns promptly.
- Manage the budget and monitor food and labour costs.
- Lead and motivate the team, ensuring a positive work environment.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Certificate of Commercial Cookery (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in managing food services and preparing special diets.
- Knowledge of food safety laws and a valid food handling certificate.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Computer literate
