Cafe Manager

The Celebration Society is a unique retail destination offering everything you need for your seasonal celebrations and special occasions including a broad range of decor and gifts. We have sourced a vintage caravan that has been converted into an ice-cream and donut bar, serving sweet treats and drinks. We’re on the hunt for a talented Manager who is both enthusiastic and skilled, to help our new venture come to fruition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with setting up the new location
- Foster a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and eager to return.
- Optimise daily operations for efficiency and oversee all aspects of café management.
- Train, roster, and support cafe staff.
- Manage inventory, track sales, and handle cash operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the cafe's profitability and reputation within the community.
- Address customer feedback and enhance their overall experience.
- Ensure tasks are performed according to standards and procedures including complying with NSW Food safety protocols

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, in your own business or employed with a strong understanding of cafe or food truck operations.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and food handling standards.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

**Preferred**:

- A Food Safety Certificate not required but a plus.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.80 - $45.92 per hour

- Retail: 1 year (preferred)
