Skydiving Instructor and Coach

**About us**

1300Skydive has Australia's largest network of skydiving centres. We offer tandem skydive, learn to skydive, and sports skydiving services at 11 locations along the east coast of Australia. We have over 50 years of experience of promoting skydiving in Australia.

We are actively seeking experienced individuals to undertake the role of Skydiving Instructor & Coach at various locations across Australia.

**About you**

Our standards are high:

- You must be a fully qualified and experienced skydiving instructor with at least 2 years of recent experience under your belt.
- Minimum of 500 tandems, and 2000 jumps in total.
- Ideally you will already have the relevant APF qualifications, if not you must have the ability to attain them.
- You will have a detailed knowledge of the equipment that you jump and indepth understanding of the emergency procedures relevant to it.
- You understand the Australian Parachute Federation policy and safety framework and are committed to adhering to it, to maintain the highest level of safety in your day to day work as a skydiving instructor.

Broader responsibilities:

- Work in a multi faceted team delivering exceptional customer services to our broad range of customers.
- Be committed to ongoing training and development, and remain abreast of industry best practice.
- Be prepared to undertake any role on the dropzone for which you are qualified. This could include parachute packing, GCA, gear checks, coach jumps, camera jumps, tandem jumps, AFF jumps, and more.
- Performing regular equipment and safety checks.
- Mentor recently graduated novice skydivers.
- Encourage the development of skydiving teams to support the future of the sport in Australia.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
