With depots in all capital cities. This position is in Cambridge 20 minutes from Hobart CBD. Work within a small team where the client show's appreciation for their members. **The Role** As a warehouse assistant, your responsibilities will be both crucial and rewarding. You will be involved in: - Ensuring site freight is packaged and secured in a manner that prevents the potential for damage and injury. - Assist with loading, unloading, delivery or pick up of site freight. - Perform freight scanning functions as required. - High standard of housekeeping in warehouse - Communicate with operations supervisor/Fleet controller where required. - Multiple other duties within this role. - All training provided. - Ongoing employment with client for right person. **Requirements**: - Forklift Licence desirable - Medium rigid licence would be advantageous but not desirable for this role. - Mechanical aptitude - Teamwork Skills: Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a small team are crucial to your success in this role. - Clean criminal history - Good geographic knowledge of Hobart and surrounds. **Hours of work**: - Up to 3 days per week (days in between Mon - Friday 8am - 4pm) - Maybe the option of overtime when needed. - $29-$30.00 per hour casual rate. - Company BBQ once a month provided. - Family orientated company.
