- **Salary - Clerk Grade 5/6, Base Salary ($97,027- $107,059), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

Want to make a change for the better? Join a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse team in the Department’s Open Government, Information and Privacy (OGIP) Unit. You will play a key role in ensuring DCJ’s compliance with the _Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009_ (GIPA Act), _Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998_ (PPIP Act), and subpoenas. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to transparency, privacy, and compliance while developing your career. **What you’ll do**

You will also:

- Facilitate the production of material for subpoenas, statutory orders, and Standing Order 52s.
- Draft correspondence, submissions, and notices of decision in line with relevant legislation.
- Support the creation and distribution of management reports.
- Provide training and guidance on legislative obligations to staff.
- Assist with business administration tasks as directed.
- Exhibit a high level of written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage simultaneous issues and competing priorities.
- Work as part of a collaborative team focused on achieving accurate, timely information provision, in an office environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

**What we’re looking for**
- A good understanding of relevant privacy and access legislation (GIPA, PPIPA, HRIPA).
- Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and providing advice.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and experience with government databases.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
- Fingerprint checks are required to be conducted at a Police Station and obtained prior to commencing with DCJ.
