Painting Trades Person

Revolution Paint and Panel are recruiting experienced and qualified PAINTING TRADES PERSON for our industrial workshop in Narangba. Our workshop provides spray painting, sandblasting and panel beating - specializing in industrial machinery.

Brand new booths recently fitted. Some of our frequent work includes mining and industrial equipment, insurance and truck smash repairs, and fleet refinishing.

Your role will include:

- Spray painting industrial machinery
- Prepping, sanding and cleaning vehicle/ equipment to be painted
- Colour matching/ paint mixing T

To be successful in this role, these qualities are required:

- Experience painting industrial machinery
- Qualified industrial spray painter
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work under pressure
- Panel beating experience is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail
- Consistent accurate workmanship
- Own PPE/ tools - Comfortable working at heights
- Understand surface preparation and finishes.
- Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
- Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
- Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
- Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
- Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas.

**Salary**: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
