Feros Care Residential Village in **Bangalow and Wommin Bay (Kingscliff)** are excited to be hiring for Part Time/Full Time **Laundry Attendant's** to support their team.

**About the Role**:
As a member of the Residential Aged Care Facility care team the Laundry Attendant is responsible for resident and village laundry services as well as the cleaning of common areas within the Residential Aged Care Facility. The Laundry Attendant will maintain high quality services to ensure resident satisfaction and contribution to a desirable, vibrant and safe environment for our residents, resident representatives and on-site visitors.

**As the Laundry Attendant you will**:

- Be responsible for resident and village laundry services that extends to washing, drying, sorting, folding and distributing of all linens and resident clothes.
- Ensure the residential laundry is maintained in accordance with health, sanitation and safety standards.
- Have sound knowledge of Work, Health and Safety, Manual Handling Practices and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Clean areas within the Residential Aged Care Facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilet and dining rooms.
- Maintain records of completion of cleaning scheduled tasks, in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures.

**About You**:

- Vaccine certification in accordance with legislative requirements
- Experience in cleaning within a large scale health or industrial organisation
- Prior experience operating a range of cleaning equipment and products
- Sound knowledge and understanding of hygiene requirements and safe working practices
- Physical suitability and competence: Physical fitness including (but not limited to): manual handling, carrying, standing/sitting for long periods of time
