**Job description**

We are looking for a **FEMALE Home Care Nurse Assistant **to join our team on a **PERMANENT PART-TIME **basis**. The successful applicant **would be assigned **DAY **shift work on **Tuesdays and Thursdays **every week anytime **between 7am to 6pm. Additional work day **if required would be **Mondays **anytime between **7am to 6pm. **As this is home / community nursing, **we require someone who can drive and have their own car fully insured. **You will be **paid per kilometre for travel in between clients.**

**THIS IS FOR IMMEDIATE START**

1. Personal care -showering, dressing, grooming, dental care, skin care

2. Meal assistance - meal preparation and assistance in intake if required

3. Mobility assistance -stand-by assist for safety

4. Light housekeeping - tidying, laundry, and bed making

5. Client transportation - appointments, shopping, or recreational

6. Other tasks that fall within your scope of practice.

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**:
To be considered for the position, you must have:
1. At least Certificate III in individual support (aged care). Medication support certification preferred.

2. A valid driver's licence and own car with full comprehensive insurance

3. A current (or willingness to acquire one prior to employment) certificate of:

- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Training
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support Training
- Manual Handling Training

4. Vaccination certificate of at least 3 doses for COVID-19

5. Have at least 3 months PAID experience working as:

- Care support worker
- Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
- Community Services worker

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
