**The College**

With campuses in Emu Plains and Mount Druitt, CathWest Innovation College serves the needs of young people who desire to drive their own learning in pursuit of their interests, strengths, and passions. **The Position**

Permanent, Full time

Commencing Term 4 - Monday 14th October 2024

**The Leader of Wellbeing will**:

- work directly with students and parents/carers to support them in identifying and pursuing learning pathways that improve the learning outcomes for students
- collaborate with all staff to promote student wellbeing and identify appropriate support and services for students and families, particularly students at-risk
- in partnership with the Head of Wellbeing, oversee student behaviour and relationships according to the college Positive Behaviour for Learning Flowchart
- in partnership with senior leaders, build the capacity of tutor teachers in fulfilling their role.
- in partnership with tutors, support students to:

- Set learning goals
- Step out their learning journey present to post
- Track, record and evidence their skills development
- Ensure they are deeply connected with partners, agencies and resources

Applicants with the capacity to deliver VET courses will be highly considered.

**Qualifications and accreditation**
- Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Statements of Service
