Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200—located at RAAF Amberley. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability, fleet size and expertise.

We are now seeking an experienced, passionate and suitably qualified **Subcontracts Administrator **to join the KC-30A Program located at Springfield.

Reporting to the Subcontracts Team Manager, the Subcontracts Administrator will Administers the lifecycle of subcontracts and supplier agreements required to support the businesses specific requirements.

**Key duties & responsibilities**:

- Maintain and administer the necessary systems for the efficient and effective administration and coordination of existing and new subcontracts and supplier agreements
- Maintain compliance of accurate, objective, traceable and complete records for the company's subcontract and business matters.
- Maintain documented records made between the company and supplier/subcontractors.
- Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialised materials, equipment, and/or services
- Drive continuous improvements for critical program subcontracts arrangements
- Prepares bid packages, analyses and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts
- Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to existing subcontracts
- Actively support the development of improvements to policies, procedures, tools and templates that may be necessary to support delivery Program objectives.
- Coordinate necessary systems and tasks to ensure the efficient and effective handling of subcontracts and agreements

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field of study
- Knowledge and experience in a subcontract administration complex capital asset environment
- Proven strength in negotiation, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Must be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining an Australian Defence Security clearance

**Desired experience**
- Experience with Department of Defence ASDEFCON requirements working within a Defence sustainment organisation
- Knowledge and experience of Export/Import and Compliance Controls

Note: As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
