**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Metalcorp **business in our **Kewdale** team as a **Storeperson/Customer Service Officer**. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

This exciting dual role will offer you variety each day. Typically, you’ll start your day attending customer service responsibilities before operating a forklift to unload our incoming deliveries and load our products ready to be despatched to customers, as well as performing general warehousing duties.

You’ll be joining a small supportive team at **Metalcorp Kewdale** when in fact you’ll be part of the larger team within the Kewdale site. You’d already be working in a similar position or you’re seeking to grow your skills and transition into sales/customer service, this opportunity will provide you the skills to launch your career with us.

This opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including our profit share plan (bonus incentive scheme). This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week within the trading hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm.

**What Will You Do?**

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. In addition to general warehousing duties, you’ll be responsible for the following**:

- processing and managing customer orders, quotes and enquiries via face to face as well as processing sales
- efficient and accurate data entry and order taking, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner and systems updated accordingly
- maintaining and enhancing relationships with external and internal customers including the Sales and Warehousing teams within the Branch and Orrcon Distribution Centre (DC)
- having high attention-to-detail and accountability ensuring positive impact to the business
