We are seeking an **Employment Placement Consultant**to join our team** Sydney Metro**location preferred, however **other regional areas** will also be considered.

**Day to day in the role you will**:

- Use your recruitment and career development skills to support people with injuries return to work
- Build relationships with employers and organisations to generate suitable vacancies for our clients
- Engage in the local community to identify employment opportunities
- Market subsidised programs to incentivise employers to consider our clients for employment
- Meet face to face with clients to build their confidence and independence in job seeking skills
- Liaise with and influence hiring managers on behalf of your clients
- Assist clients with addressing key selection criteria
- Prepare clients for interviews
- Work within a multi disciplinary team to help our clients find gainful and durable employment.

**About You**:

- Have at least 12 months experience supporting disadvantaged job seekers with new employment
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving
- Honesty, integrity, team attitude & positive approach
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent written & spoken English language skills (professional fluency)
- Experience working in Disability Employment Services would be desirable
- A professional network within your local area would be highly regarded
- Unrestricted drivers licence (own vehicle required).
