Commercial Analyst

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst - IT & Digital to join the Commercial Finance Team based at our Camberwell Support Office.

**About the Role**:
**The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the Commercial Finance Manager - Digital, IT, Transformation and work with key stakeholders in the IT and Digital space to drive shareholder value
- Forecasting & budgeting - support the annual budgeting process and own and drive the monthly forecasting processes by working with key stakeholders to produce the outputs
- Providing insights on financial performance to key stakeholders to enable decision making
- Period end management accounting and providing performance commentary to relevant stakeholders
- Assisting in the development of 5-year plan (Corporate plan) including model creation and working with key stakeholders to produce the outputs
- Assessing investment initiatives including business case development and subsequent tracking of results
- Ensuring appropriate tracking tools are in place to monitor expenditure against agreed budgets and forecasts
- Process improvement and automation of manual tasks

**About you**:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Commercial Analyst or Management Accountant
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience with large and multiple data sources (Power Query, Power Pivot, Excel Tables, Named Ranges)
- Experience using large ERP systems (SAP) & BI tools (BPC and MicroStrategy)
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships between finance and business functions
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to change quickly
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Retail or Digital experience an advantage

**Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
- CPA/CA qualification
