**The Gig**

This is a challenging and busy role suited for an experienced F&B Supervisor with a wealth of experience in transforming a guest's experience into an inspiring journey of discovery. You will be a critical part of the F&B leadership team with bags of development and career opportunities. Our team works hard, has fun and consistently goes out of our way each and every day to create amazing and memorable experiences for our guests.

We are looking for **Full Time or Part-Time** role and will require flexibility within you availability. As our newest **Food & Beverage Supervisor**, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Run day to day operations, ensuring shifts are appropriately staffed and effectively managed
- Oversee F&B operations in a way that maximises efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery, in line with Ovolo standards and procedures
- Implement comprehensive and systematic training for new starters and providing clear guidance and support to conduct their roles to required level of performance
- Coordinate regular team meetings, briefings and shift handovers at each changeover and ensure communication between management and team members is sufficient
- Ensure effective and consistent operational briefings are conducted before each service, explaining covers, sections, specials, VIP guests, events and operational requirements
- Monitor service standards and procedures followed by team members and take action where standards not achieved including informal and formal performance management processes
- Oversee selection and purchase of beverages and ensure regular stock takes of beverage and achievement of budgeted cost of sales
- Ensure that the POS system is updated on a daily basis and is used for stock control.

**About you**
- Experience as F & B supervisor in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail
- Showing strong leadership, work ethic with a positive, "can-do" attitude and proven team work person is a must
- Adaptability and ability to multitask effectively
- A genuine passion for quality food and beverage
- Have an exceed time management skills and organizing tasks
- Availability to roster the team, work a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- A valid RSA certificate
