Maintenance Handyperson required for short term contract

**Your new company**

Hays Recruitment are looking for a Maintenance Handyperson to join one of Victoria's leading providers of high-quality disability, specialist education, aged care and retirement living services for a short term placement.

**Your new role**
- Presentation and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas.
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance work.
- Carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, plumbing, labouring, property maintenance.
- Ensure all work carried out complies with local safety regulations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Trade qualified in either carpentry or painting is preferred however experience within these areas will be considered.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work weekends on a rotating basis.
- Undergo a police check.
