Our client is experiencing significant growth in their innovation / technology division and is looking for an experienced and dynamic Technician to join them in a FIFO capacity working at one of their remote locations in WA. With excellent oral and written communication skills the successful applicant will be required to provide onsite support to new technology / equipment within areas of automation, wireless communications, and remote-control units.

- E&I diagnosis, maintenance, and commission experience
- Wireless communication understanding

With a primary function to provide technical support, diagnose, repair and coordinate the escalation of unscheduled repairs, applicants must have an Electro-Mechanical Aptitude with commercial experience in electronics and be able to demonstrate the following:

- Practical experience designing simple diagnostics experiments
- Practical experience with diagnostics instruments such as DMMs, DSOs, etc
- A general understanding of common terminology of the 802.3 Ethernet protocol
- Knowledge of wireless Access Point and mobile device computer configurations.
- Solid working knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating system including simple administration
- Practical experience with principles of sensors and sensor logic and data acquisition
- Practical experience using serial communications busses
- Demonstrated FIFO remote site experience and mining experience
