Child Worker at Chau Nguyen Family Day Care

Chau Nguyen Family Day Care is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Worker to join our team. As a Child Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and fostering a nurturing environment for children in our family day care setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children in our care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational, creative, and recreational activities, to promote child development and engagement.
- Supervise and monitor children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily routines, such as feeding, diapering, and toilet training.
- Foster positive relationships with children, their families, and colleagues, promoting open communication and trust.
- Observe and document children's behavior, progress, and milestones, and share feedback with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized learning plans for children with specific needs or interests.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, including cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and play areas.
- Follow all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures related to childcare, health, safety, and sanitation.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Patience, understanding, and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A clear background check and up-to-date immunizations.

**Salary**: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
