**The Opportunity**:
Partnered with our host **Johnson Controls**, we are seeking an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice who is looking to be trained in all aspects of commercial air conditioning service and installation, while completing a **MEM31322 Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning** qualification.

This position is full-time, and based in **Kewdale**.

As an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice you will be assisting qualified tradespeople to complete installations, and conduct servicing and maintenance across multiple commercial sites.

You will be tech-savvy and mechanically minded while using, electrical equipment, testing and monitoring equipment and basic hand and power tools.

Duties will include:

- Assisting with installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC equipment in commercial facilities
- Working at heights and using general hand tools and other industry-specific tooling
- Service and maintenance of water
- and air-cooled chillers
- Assisting major service and cleaning of heat exchangers

**About You**:

- Positive attitude and genuine interest in the trade
- Construction White Card
- Excellent communication skills
- Good safety awareness
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and an understanding of hand tools
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check
- Willing to work, listen and learn what the tradespeople teach you
- Reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate
