PFD Food Services began life in 1943 amid the noise and chaos of the Melbourne Fish Markets. **The Role**

The purpose of this role is to deliver product in good condition in an effective and timely manner utilising **PFD's smaller trucks and utes.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver products (including chilled and frozen products) to customers as per invoice requirements
- Obtain and be responsible for payment from customers
- To undertake all duties in a safe responsible and courteous manner
- Practice safe and correct manual handling
- Ensure all invoices are signed and correctly present paperwork as per company procedures

**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Good understanding of warehouse and transport operations preferably in the food service industry
- Must have refrigerated food and multi drop experience
- Understand OH&S and food safety program (HACCP) and in particular the "cold chain" process
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Customer focused and good at building interpersonal relationships
- Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically fit with the ability to load and unload truck (couple of tonne a day) within safety guidelines
- Ability to deal with customer feedback
