Join as an **Inspector, Electrolysis and Corrosion Protection** where you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and effectiveness of corrosion protection across NSW. In this exciting role, you’ll use your expertise to shape key safety priorities, collaborate with industry leaders, and contribute to the development of important standards and programs. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact while helping to build and shape a team from the ground up.

**About the Role**

As part of the new Electrolysis and Corrosion Protection (ECP) team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of corrosion protection across NSW. You’ll use your expertise to help meet the state’s responsibilities under the Corrosion Protection Regulation 2020, reviewing audits, investigating incidents, and setting safety priorities.

You’ll work closely with asset owners and industry groups to promote compliance, support the development of Australian Standards, contribute to research, and provide valuable input into programs that shape the future of electrolysis and corrosion protection in NSW and beyond.

**About You**

Additionally, you should have a strong awareness of relevant industry standards, codes, and legislative frameworks that guide the sector.

**Essential Requirements -**
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent trade qualifications and experience); or
- Trade qualifications in electrotechnology, combined with experience in the utilities or a related industry.
