Reporting directly into the Corporate Planning and Systems Manager, this is a Pricing, Rebates and Reporting Specialist role. You will support Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand by ensuring rebates are calculated, prepared and administered and reports are generated in accordance with internal processes and to accounting standards. This role is integral to ensure that Corporate Planning requirements are met for all key reports presented by our MD and Executives to Regional Head Office. Furthermore, the role includes the coordination of transfer pricing to ensure accurate product costing and profitability.
You will also support the Business Planning team with data analysis and reporting and provide support on system maintenance.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the end-to-end process of rebate program: update and maintain rebate agreements and ensure their accuracy and timeliness, in accordance with the policy and J-SOX requirements
- Conduct rebate reconciliation, ensuring transparency and correctness in financial transactions.
- Manage and coordinate regional reporting requirement (e.g. Preliminary, A-SOM, I-SOM, etc) for Australia and New Zealand, including commentaries on business environment, demand, customer, PEST+A - Politics, Economy, Social, Technology and Automotive Industry, etc
- Coordinate the Transfer Pricing process including coordinating scheduled reporting, manual ad hoc requests, system updates and monthly reconciliations
- Provide data analysis and reporting support to the Business Planning team
**About you**:
- Degree qualification in IT, Finance, Marketing or a Business equivalent
- Previous demonstrated experience with rebate programs, reporting and analysis, transfer pricing and sales pricing
- Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis
- Great problem solver with a proactive and analytical approach
- The ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels along with a genuine ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service
- A demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and adhere to deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products, SAP, Salesforce and Business Intelligence tools. Technical skills in these areas are an added advantage
