Remuneration: $34.86 - $36.20 / hr + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

The Wesley Hospital is one of the leading surgical robotics hospitals in the country. As part of this busy department, you’ll be responsible for accurate collection and input of patient operation details, liaising with Visiting Medical Officers rooms and operating theatres, and general secretarial support to the Bookings Department primary location will be within patient flow area.

You will be accountable for:

- Ensuring a high level of communication between theatres, wards, doctors and receptionists
- Scheduling accurate theatre allocations, factoring time allocations and procedural complexity
- Efficient and accurate collection and input of patient and theatre data in to the computer system
- Accurate and prompt data entry and record filing
- Maintaining patient confidentiality

- Previous experience in bookings within a similar high traffic environment
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology and medical surgical procedures
- Experience with medical systems, including Cerner, Operating Theatre Utilisation System or equivalent
